| Erle Levey
"Good morning, it’s Radio Real Estate with Sami, Dan and Rob. Joining us in the studio is Sunshine Coast Daily property editor Erle Levey for a look at this week’s hot properties. Good morning Erle … "
No Saturday sleep-ins for me. Now it’s a mixture of property, lifestyle, celebrity guests... and a lot of fun.
Hot 91’s Saturday morning property program Radio Real Estate has doubled its program time to deliver twice as much information and entertainment.
The program, which started almost a year ago, now runs from 8am to 10am.
Hot 91’s host of the show Sami Muirhead said it has been rewarding to see the program appeal to a wide age group – from teenagers to grandparents.
“It’s a nice mix of real estate issues,’’ she says, “everyone wants to know what their house is worth – and lifestyle segments.
"Fun stuff that we like to do in the house such as cooking, interior design, landscaping and DIY projects.
“I love real estate. I have always followed it. Yet the program gets away from the sell of real estate and provides something everyone can listen to and learn from.
"Everything from where you can find a bargain to how to fix broken tiles."
Radio Real Estate is produced at Hot 91’s Maroochydore studio and the bigger time-slot means more segments, guests and a bigger presentation team on air.
Rob Douglas of Adenbrook Homes has joined the team of Sami Muirhead and Ray White Maroochydore’s Dan Sowden.
Rob has stood in as co-host in the past and brings with him enthusiasm for the real estate market and knowledge from working in the building industry for years.
Ray White’s Dan Sowden has been involved with the program since its inception and said it was great to be able to put a voice out to the marketplace.
“We are real people working in the industry, not just commentators,’’ he says.
As Property Week editor I have a new segment about Hot Properties in which we will be looking for bargains.
Having been with the Sunshine Coast Daily almost 23 years, I have probably seen more properties in that time than I’ve had hot dinners.
The Daily has been long regarded as an authority in real estate and it’s good to be involved with radio as well as newspapers and on-line.
The property market is important to people’s lives and we are very proud that Property Week is involved.
It’s good to be able to get the news of what’s happening in the market across to the widest range of people possible.
Tune into Hot 91’s between 8am and 10 am on Saturday morning for Radio Real Estate, or listen online.
Don't forget to pick up the Saturday edition of the Sunshine Coast Daily for the latest Property Week magazine.
