Get over it, Tarasai!

October 31 | our TV junkies

Two days after Tarasai Vushe was voted off Australian Idol for “faking it” and she’s still spitting the dummy.

Judges Mark Holden and Ian Dickenson were the two most obvious targets of Tarasai’s tanty after they panned her performance on Sunday night’s show, prompting her to tell them God would judge them for what they said about her.

But not content with spraying the two outspoken judges, the pint-size lethal weapon has been machine-gunning down almost everyone in sight since the audience voted her off on Monday.

Her latest target is nice-as-pie judge Marcia Hines, who she claims betrayed her by staying quiet during Sunday’s judges comments, then telling her she didn’t think she was faking it but later saying on radio she agreed with Dicko and Holden.

Then Tarasai set her sights on fellow finalist Natalie Gauci, who she said was rude and horrible.

Another Idol contestant, Daniel Mifsud, also found himself a target for apparently getting involved in Tarasai’s squabbles when it was “none of his business”.

Last week I wrote that the bickering between the Idol judges was more exciting than the performances on stage, but at least it seems most of them can agree on one thing: Ms Vushe was as fake as Paris Hilton’s new goody-two-shoes image.

I’ll admit I actually liked the little diva’s big voice, but I think we can pretty much rest assured that her post-Idol hysterics have probably killed any chance of her ever getting a recording contract in this country.

Welcome to the real world of reality TV, Tarasai. Sometimes it brings you fame, sometimes pain.

But, hey, all this brouhaha has got to be good for ratings – and at least maybe we are now seeing the “real Tarasai”.

Do you reckon Tarasai was faking it on Idol? What do you think of her “performance” since she was voted off the show?

It sickens me when people talk about being a Christian and then absolutely spit the dummy and talk about 'God will get them' and all that sort of rubbish.

Listening to Tarasai, she sounds like one mixed up, stuck up, little thing who needs a good spanking from Marcia - as well as to learn when to shut up.

She may have a great voice but she also has a big mouth and if she's going to get on the music industry, she needs to know when to shut it and when to open it.

Tarasai messed with Australia's King & Queen of pop! and lost. So much potential. All she will be remembered for is losing it on national TV & radio.

It's the Australian Idol curse.

Remember the first series... The 25-year-old Victorian's former Video Hits co-host Kelly Cavuoto was dropped from the program following a drunken outburst at the 2004 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. she used plenty of 'f' words.

Then in 2006, Axel Whitehead exposed himself at the Australian Recording Industry (ARIA) Awards.

And

Rob Mills landed himself in a Munich cop shop after being charged with assaulting a fellow Aussie tourist who taunted him about Paris Hilton. (Millsy was photographed with Paris Hilton on her hotel balcony after the Melbourne Cup)
