From the David Low Broadway songwriting team of Yorina Merger and Simonsez Grow comes a new musical called Specialot, based on the famous and fabled book by PTY Whiteshoe, The Once And Future Shire.
Merger and Grow are already celebrated for their previous musical masterpiece My Fairweather City and its show-stopping songs such as Wouldn't It Be Affordable, Brisbane It's Rain Falls Mainly Down The Drain, All I Want Is A Tank Somewhere, Why Can't The City Save Some Water, On The Street Where You're Stuck, Get Me To The Sale On Time, I've Grown Accustomed To Disgrace and I'm Getting Released On Bail Pending.
Now Merger and Grow have adapted a legendary story which has enchanted generations Babyboom and X, but not yet Next G.
This is a new musical which tells the tale of Specialot, Arthurmayor, his magical mentor Merlinseed and the Knights of the Roundabout.
Specialot is the saga of a pristine and proud populace that is striving to keep its Middle Ages lifestyle special.
However, the tragic romance between Arthurmayor's consort Gwendevelope and his bravest knight Sir Plancelot causes the penthouse and playmate realm of Specialot to be conquered by and conjoined to Arthurmayor's arch-enemies Maroochymordred and Caloundra Le Fey.
Political theatregoers will be dazzled, entertained and intrigued by this municipal musical box office smash in need of a favourable review and further panel beating.
Ratepayers, residents and other critics alike will compulsorily enjoy this journey through that "one brief bikini Sunshine moment" that was known as Specialot.
Specialot is a coming and going distraction at an amalgamated multiplex near you.
