A teen wanted by police got more than he bargained for during a recent shopping trip to Sunshine Plaza.
Maroochydore Plaza Beat officers spotted the 17-year-old, wanted on outstanding warrants and accused of a number of property offences, this week.
Police took the man to the watchhouse where Sunshine Coast property crime squad detectives interviewed him.
He was charged with 24 stealing and property offences, including wilful damage and unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, and was remanded in custody.
The alleged offender was later given bail with reporting conditions.
