What kind of a sociopathic imecile thinks its okay to pilot one, two or three tonnes of metal whilst under the influence of drink or drugs? Do people not realise that even if they are under the limit, they are increasing the risk of killing or maiming someone, even if they feel fine in themselves.
Come on people: alcohol makes you feel confident and capable whilst actually reducing reaction times and awareness. Even if you're below the limit you are increasing your risk.
Driving is a privilege and anyone who abuses that privilege in a way that risks the lives of others should be banned from driving. If you job relies on it then tough luck -- there's plenty of work in Brisbane or the other capial cities where public transport is better. If you don't want to risk your job or your coast lifestyle then learn a bit of bloody self control and limit your drinking before driving.
I can't believe I live in the presence of so many simple-minded idiots. Good on the police for getting them off the road.
