A 44-year-old disqualified driver has been slow to learn from his mistakes, chalking up offences on two separate occasions in just 10 days.
The Woombye resident was stopped by an officer on mobile patrol about 2.10pm on Sunday on the Nambour Connection Road for a licence check.
The District Duty Officer's investigations revealed that in 2006 the man had been disqualified from holding a licence for a period of four years.
Further checks showed he also had been intercepted by police 10 days earlier but obviously undeterred, was still driving.
As a result of his latest offence, he was charged with one count of disqualified driving and the vehicle was impounded. He will appear in Nambour Magistrates Court in March.
Police will be taking a keen interest in this repeat offender in the future.
