A young Nambour chef has lost his licence for two years and been placed on probation after being caught driving with a blood-alcohol reading more than three times the legal limit.
He was one of almost 50 drink-drivers convicted in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court.
February 7 court appearances
• James Thurston Guldberg, 26, a chef of Nambour, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.164%. He was admitted to probation for two years and disqualified for two years.
• Gerard Scott Temple, 32, a forklift driver of Woombye, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.079%. He was fined $500 and disqualified for four months.
• Annthea Rae Carroll, 21, a waitress of Mooloolaba, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.073%. She was fined $400 and disqualified for three months.
• Peter Keith Creak, 23, a head chef of Coes Creek, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.072%. He was fined $900 and disqualified for six months.
• Donald Wayne Baumann, 52, a porter of Palmwoods, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.062%. He was fined $600 and disqualified for three months.
• Michelle Ann Finnigan, 26, unemployed of Maroochydore, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.052%. She was fined $600 and disqualified for nine months.
• Helen Haines, 54, of Nambour, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.060%. She was convicted and fined $250 and disqualified for one month.
• Joseph David Tarren, 69, retired of Cooloolabin, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.056%. He was fined $250 and disqualified for one month.
• Robert Thomas Brakensiek, 21, a labourer of Marcoola, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.035%. He was fined $600 and disqualified for four months.
• Gary Robert Charles Holt, 36, a concreter from Maryborough, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.058%. He was fined $250 and disqualified for one month.
• Terry Patrick Foley, 47, a tank builder from Woombye, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.118%. He was fined $1500 and disqualified for 12 months.
February 13 court appearances
• Matthew James McMahon, 18, an assistant manager of Bli Bli, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.071%. He was fined $400 and disqualified for three months.
• John Barry Moriarty, 56, a company director of Buderim, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.064%. He was fined $200 and disqualified for six weeks.
• Rohan John Carwardine, 18, a trainee marine technician of Crib Point in Victoria, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.098%. He was fined $600 and disqualified for four months.
February 14 court appearances
• Martin Anthony Cason, 22, a student of Parrearra, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.095%. He was fined $900 and disqualified for eight months.
• Rhys Aaron North, 17, an apprentice carpenter of Burnside, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.088%. He was fined $400 and disqualified for three months.
• Craig John Denham, 41, a trawler operator of Minyama, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.086%. He was fined $400 and disqualified for three months.
• Peter Lewis Lucas, 53, a taxi operator of Nambour, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.081%. He was fined $400 and disqualified for four months.
• Matthew Scott Grady, 31, a fisherman from Minyama, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.064%. He was fined $250 and disqualified for six weeks.
• Justin Wayne Gibbons, 33, a pool builder from Little Mountain, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.068%. He was fined $250 and disqualified for one month.
• Stuart Martin Louth, 27, a driller of Maroochydore, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.101%. He was fined $600 and disqualified for four months.
• Aaron Peter Fraser, 26, an asphalt worker of Kureelpa, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.115%. He was fined $900 and disqualified for nine months.
February 15 court appearances
• Alex Michael Smirnow, 32, a chef of Bokarina, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.073%. He was fined $400 and disqualified for three months.
• Joshua Joseph Roberts, 17,a labourer of Landsborough was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.051%. He was fined $300 and disqualified for three months.
• Kieran-Rae Linder, 28, a chef of Coolum Beach, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.082%. She was fined $700 and disqualified for six months.
• Jodie Maree Zelinski, 29, an accountant of Tanawha, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.102%. She was fined $600 and disqualified for six months.
• Samuel James Truloff, 20, a metal worker of Maroochydore, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.077%. He was fined $700 and disqualified for six months.
• Amy Jean White, 24, a salesperson of Weyba Downs, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.094%. She had her licence suspended for 24 hours and was issued with a notice to appear. She later admitted to police that she had driven her vehicle after being released. On February 15 she was convicted and fined $1000 and disqualified for four months.
• Marco Monaco, 25, a builder of Parrearra was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.059%. He was fined $250 and disqualified for one month.
• Stefan Phillip Delyster, 23, a trainee professional golfer of Mt Isa, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.094%. He was fined $600 and disqualified for four months.
• Kerrianne Leigh Morgan, 21, of Aroona, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.071%. She was fined $400 and disqualified for three months.
• Alicia Julie Derrick, 18, a solicitor’s consultant was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.046%. She was fined $200 and disqualified for three months.
• Daniel Joseph Eyes, 31, a sand sculptor of Surfers Paradise, was
convicted of driving with a reading of 0.164%. He was fined $1500 and disqualified for nine months.
• Donna Michelle Kennedy, 37, an office manager from Glenfields, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.077%. She was fined $400 and disqualified for four months.
• Savino Peleti, 32, a labourer of Bli Bli, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.123%. He was fined $700 and disqualified for four months.
• Anthony Benjamin Cox, 24, a chef from Bli Bli, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.059%. He was fined $500 and disqualified for six months.
February 18 court appearances
• Jonathon Glyn Mitchell Murray, 17, a student of Woody Point, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.029% and also for being unlicensed. He was fined $900 and disqualified for three months.
• Christopher Gerard Locke, 27, a business owner of Buddina, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.061%. He was fined $200 and disqualified for six weeks.
• Stuart Leonard Jeremy, 20, a boiler maker of Woombye, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.086%. He was fined $400 and disqualified for six weeks.
• Steven Campbell Mann, 26, a student of Sunnybank, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.052%. He was fined $200 and disqualified for one month.
• Matt Robert Meuwissen, 20, an electrician of Mooloolaba, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.156%. He was convicted and fined $1000 and disqualified for 10 months.
• Bree Naomee Skoczek, 24, a retail manager of Buderim, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.221%. She was fined $1500 and disqualified for 15 months.
• Caroline Anne Hughes, 43, an operations assistant of Maroochydore, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.149%. She was convicted and admitted to probation for 12 months. She was also disqualified for 12 months.
February 19 court appearances
• Sheryl Cassano, 37, a bar attendant from Parrearra, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.057%. She was fined $300 and disqualified for two months.
• Joel Kenneth Jones, 27, years a tiler of Wurtulla, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.058%. He was fined $300 and disqualified for four months.
February 20 court appearances
• Craig Roy Rich, 45, an operations manager of Mountain Creek, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.104%. He was fined $600 and disqualified for three months.
• Jeffrey Roy Ward, 45, unemployed of Kulangoor, was convicted of driving with a reading of 0.240%. He was fined $1750 and disqualified for 18 months.
