Aggrieved by a referee’s decision, a 19-year-old labourer from Caloundra engaged him in a heated argument.
A short time later, the 19-year-old shoved the official in the chest. Another official approached the enraged teenager, and he too was shoved in the chest.
Police were called, complaints were made and the teenager was charged with assaulting sporting officials.
He appeared at the Caloundra Magistrates Court on Tuesday, where he was fined a total of $300.
