While Fleming seems to match the boxing stereotype to a tee, it certainly isn’t the case with this Caboolture native.
According to the official website of the Australian Olympic team, the 23-year-old likes to meditate and go birdwatching in his down time.
He even uses the laidback tunes of Jack Johnson to calm himself down before big fights. No Queen rock ballads to fire up before stepping in the ring for this fighter.
Kidd qualified for the Games after beating Samoan Vaiee Sasulu in the Oceania Championships final.
It helped ease the disappointment of narrowly missing out on the 2004 Athens Games.
