Noosa surfer Josh Constable’s quest to regain his national crown remains on track after he advanced through the latest round of the Oxbow Australian Longboard Titles at Port Macquarie yesterday.
Constable finished second in his round two heat with a two-wave total of 13.75, behind Victorian Sam Dunton (15.25).
Constable has drawn Paul Scholton, Ben Fesselet and Matt Aldridge in his quarter final heat.
Fellow Sunshine Coast surfer Mitch Surman will also feature in the quarters after winning his round two heat.
Kelly Winter and Georgie Roach are through to the semi-finals of the open women’s competition.
