Herman's Hermits at Noosa tonight

Herman's Hermits at Noosa tonight

Old favourites: Herman's Hermits perform on the Sunshine Coast on August 28.

The J at Noosa will welcome one of the best bands of the 60s, Herman’s Hermits, tonight.

The legendary band of the 60s will visit Noosa on the Australian leg of their tour for one night only.

After all these years even today almost everybody will instantly start humming along to all-time favourites like Silhouettes’, Mrs Brown You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter, Into Something Good, Henry VIII and many more.

Herman’s Hermits became one of music's household names along with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones in the British-dominated music scene of the 60s.

Much to the enjoyment of their fans the Golden Oldies still make up a large part of Herman’s Hermits show.

They have chalked up over 23 hit singles, 10 hit albums, three major movies and countless television shows and concert tours all over the world. Up to date they have sold a total of over 75 million records.

Original band member Barry ‘the Bean’ Whitlam has guided the band from strength to strength into one of the hardest working acts in the business - they still average more than 200 one-night stands per year - and reckon they maintain their stamina by having a sense of humour.

Their touring schedule takes them to Germany, Belgium, Holland, the Scandinavian countries, the U.S.A., Canada, Australia and New Zealand on a regular basis, and they still find time to perform in their home country the United Kingdom, packing in the audiences at every venue and delighting them with their solid musicianship, vocal ability and dynamic stage presence.

Tickets are $45 and $40 for groups of 10 or more.
