Still sexy at 66

Still sexy at 66

The Buderim Ginger Beer Girls have been a huge hit at iconic Coast surfboat events.

After 66 years of producing ginger products for the more mature palette, Buderim Ginger has released a product - and marketing - aimed at a more youthful crowd.

Buderim Ginger Beer has fast became the drink of choice for twenty-something champion Australian surfboat crews and spectators across our glorious beaches who love it so much they’re asking for jugs instead of bottles!

With the help of the gorgeous Buderim Ginger Beer girls, the makers of the World’s Finest Ginger took to the beach, sampling the zingy ginger beer at lifesaving events such as the Ocean Thunder Pro Surf Boat Series.

It’s something the big beverage companies have been dabbling in for a while, but is a first for Buderim Ginger.

Buderim Ginger retail manager, Mark Stanley, says, “We strive to create innovative products and recipes to meet ever-changing consumer tastes.

"The iconic and youthful sport of surf boat racing was the perfect platform to try out the new ginger beer, and it has proved a great success in attracting the young, fit and healthy.”

As some of our countries finest athletes gear up for the national lifesaving titles in a few weeks, the million dollar question remains…is the ginger beers enormous popularity based on the genuine ginger taste…or, is it the girls?

Well it was actually the girls which attracted me to this article. Which one of them is 66 I thought. Or is that their combined age.

Yes, their ginger beer's OK too, but I bet a couple of bottles wouldn't have gotten the same response at the beach.

I hope that this is not showing my ignorance, but does anyone know what wazar is talking about, and where is Chemin Grenier ? Which division is that in. Not Div 6 I hope, or you are in real trouble wazara.

Is this a news article? Or is it an advertisement? Never mind, it's entertaining. Heh heh, jugs.

Have your say
