Sunshine Coast musicians are uniting on Sunday at Joe’s Waterhole for BENefit, a great day of live music to support local muso Ben Richards who recently had all his van, equipment and instruments stolen from his home.
The gig kicks off at Joe’s Waterhole at 3pm, and there is a fantastic line-up of styles, grooves and genres from original music to Blues to Country to ’70s rock to funk and soul including Barry Charles, Triple Shot Blues Band, Michael Bryers and Dan Webb Duo, The Blues Shakers, Rooftop Therapy (featuring Col Meredith and Paul Martin of Late for Woodstock) and the Clint Francis Band.
Tickets are $15 at the door and all proceeds go to Ben to replace his stolen gear.
There is also a beautiful Takamine acoustic guitar to be won in a raffle on the day and some other groovy prizes, and the day promises to be a great party and a gathering of many of everyone’s favourite local acts.
So head along for a great day of live music.
The day is sponsored by Joe’s Waterhole, DW Sound, Takamine and Valley Custom Guitars.
