Two of the hottest rnb, DJs Def Rok and MC Jayson will hit the Rolling Rock tonight for their popular event rnb superclub.
At the age of 14 Def Rok preferred hanging around record stores to being at school. Holding a dream being on a concert stage, his destiny changed forever in 2002 when the call of a lifetime came: a resident DJ was too sick to attend his rnb superclub set, The Rok got the call.
Def Rok has worked at every rnb superclub Australia-wide. Although throwing his own style behind the superclub hits, Def Rok is also highly respected as one of Australia’s leading show DJs through his unique style of scratching, doubling and sampling.
MC Jayson exploded on to the rnb/hip hop club scene over four years ago as one of Australia’s leading MCs. With a loyal following of mass proportion he’s showcases highlight his vocal sounds.
While securing the No.1 rnb superclub spot, he has worked along side Australia’s leading rnb/hip hop names and at some of Australia’s biggest events whilst holding the title of Australia’s most sought after MC.
Since its inception in November 2001 on the Australian club scene, rnb superclub has become one of the biggest urban events in the southern hemisphere.
Originally at Fox studios, rnb superclub has spread its wings Australia-wide, and been synonymous for attracting the best in local and international celebrities and artists. It was only a matter of time before the music that made rnb superclub popular transpired into a CD. With more than 35000 units, rnb Super CD Vol I became Australia’s first ever fully mixed “gold” CD.
