Pair accused of punching police officers

A man and woman will face court following the serious assault of a police officer in Queensland's south.
Police said officers attended Stafford Street, Goondiwindi, at 3.45pm (AEST) on Saturday where a man told police he had been assaulted.
When police arrested a 20-year-old man at a nearby house, an 18-year-old woman at the home allegedly punched the female officer in the mouth, cracking her teeth.
Two male officers were also allegedly assaulted by the same woman, and another woman, as they took the man from the house.
During the scuffle, the female officer was punched twice more in the face by the woman and the two male officers were spat at by the man.
The man and the 18-year-old woman will face Warwick Magistrates Court on Monday on three charges of serious assault of a police officer and two charges of obstructing a police officer.
The man will face an addition charge of assault occasioning bodily harm.
Police are investigating a second woman.
