Child killer Valmae Beck's condition improves

Notorious child killer Valmae Beck is in a stable condition in Townsville Hospital, almost three weeks after she was reportedly on death’s door due to complications following an operation to insert a pacemaker in her heart.
The 64-year-old was transferred from the Townsville Correctional Centre, where she was serving a life sentence for the 1987 murder of Noosa schoolgirl Sian Kingi, on May 5 after experiencing shortness of breath.
A Queensland Corrective Services spokeswoman said Beck was in a stable condition, but QCS was not releasing any information concerning when Beck would be returned to the correctional centre.
News that Beck, who is now known as Fay Cramb, was on her deathbed brought debate over whether the convicted killer should receive taxpayer-funded health care.
But premier Anna Bligh said at the time that all prisoners were entitled to medical treatment, including those serving a life sentence for murder.
Beck and her then husband Barrie Watts were jailed in 1987 after luring 12-year-old Sian to their car by pretending to look for a lost dog before raping, stabbing and strangling the schoolgirl and dumping her body.
Watts, 54, is serving a life sentence at the Wolston Correctional Centre in Brisbane’s west.

I guess the best we can (with clear conscience and ethics) hope for is that this health scare has shaken her to the core and she might want to be in a better place with herself when she meets her maker. Hopefully she may want to clear her conscience a bit and spill the beans on any other matters she and/or Watts were involved in.
Don't you see that?
You abhor what she did, and no one would disagree, but you urge the same against her...........untimely death.
And, My_2_ cents, with this:
"I guess the best we can (with clear conscience and ethics) hope for is that this health scare has shaken her to the core and she might want to be in a better place with herself when she meets her maker. Are you suggesting that she goes to 'Heaven' if she spills the beans.
There is, allegedly, only up or down.
We may differ on our views of the death penalty but please don't compare my ethics to a monster such as this woman.
Are you like Somlyay, lining up to pull the the plugs? Are you willing to be the state sanctioned killer too?
I believe you are, but if I have that wrong I apologise.
But, if I am right, your ethics and that of Beck are the exactly same.
You each have no respect for the right to life and you each are the harbinger of death.
As I have posted earlier, personally, I blame Sunday School and Jesus for my view on this.
Pssst....I am agnostic.
Everyone is entitled to their freedom of speech without someone like you spouting off.
These people feel the same as all of us, we are not vengeful, we want her to spill the beans and then go quietly to wherever it is she is destined to go to. [And we all think we know where that is]
Or, are we not allowed to say that Mr Bates!
You said:
"Or, are we not allowed to say that Mr Bates!"
Of course, you can say that you wish her to "spill the beans."
I am not The Editor around here.
You say what you want, and I'll do the same. Is that okay?
Or, is your definition of 'freedom of speech' that you can say what you want, but I can't?
And, neither chillibin nor My_2 cents said what you purport.
.....and now, exactly what beans do you want Beck to spill, and why, after having done so to satisfy your 'want,' do you wish her death, a quiet one, in your case?
Here is some of them.
Mungo is content if, after spilling these magic beans she has ........(and another point is to be made there.......something about the an onus of proof....a presumption of innocence.......something Mungo seems to deny) .......Beck is dead.....provided she goes 'quietly' to her death.
Nah, Mungo......at least have the courage of your deadly conviction and state outright that your 'dead' is dead, whether 'quiet' or very loud.
Geebeezus!!
Do you have a brother Norman?
Have your say
