Peregian Springs continues to prosper due to the desirable lifestyle of a coastal community.
As one of the fastest growing residential estates on the Sunshine Coast, Peregain Springs is a drawcard for buyers across Australia and around the world – all seeking the increasingly desirable lifestyle of a coastal community.
Peregian Springs is FKP’s master planned community where over 45% of the total land holding is dedicated to open spaces.
Residents enjoy natural parklands and innovative playgrounds, surrounded by purpose-built walking and cycling tracks in a natural bushland setting.
Excellent educational facilities are also close by, including a private school and childcare centre.
When it is complete, Peregian Springs will be home to some 5000 people, although the population (according to 2006 census data) is around the 1678-mark. In the current stage of development, there are 29 traditional and terrace blocks approved and 21 golf frontage blocks, plus the wide range of existing homes for sale.
With an increasing number of enquiries for property sales in Peregian Springs, Zinc Properties has based its new office here.
Zinc marketing agent Justine Coleman says Peregian Springs is a growing area and, with the new restaurants, shops and schools going in, it’s going ahead in leaps and bounds.
“Everything is new and lovely and you’re still a very short drive to the beach.”
With the completion of major roadworks, Peregian Springs is now more directly linked with Noosa, giving residents quicker access to the newly opened Noosa Civic complex.
Century 21 Noosa, Peregian Beach and Peregian Springs operations manager Laurie Prentice lives at Peregian Springs and loves it, especially the peace and quiet – and being right on the golf course.
“Each day I find daily people who live here and they ask why they hadn’t moved here earlier.
The Ridges residential estate is starting to be developed and with it will come The Rec Club, with a 25m pool, spa, massage and licensed restaurant.’’
According to REIQ sales figures, the most expensive street is Lakeside Drive, while the most expensive house sold in Peregian Springs was a four-bedroom home on 746sq m in The Avenue, which sold in March last year for $1.15m.
Most people (67%) fully own or are purchasing their homes, while 26.1% rent.
The new shopping centre, which is under construction, will bring a Coles supermarket, another 15 specialty stores and medical and professional services to the community at Peregian Springs.
