Weather bureau radar from November 20.
The weather bureau is predicting storms again for the south-east Queensland which could affect the Sunshine Coast this afternoon or tonight but severe storms look likely to head further north.
The bureau has issued a severe storm warning for Bundaberg, Childers, and Woodgate.
Just after noon, forecaster Peter Otto said hail was a possibility for the Coast but gusty winds would probably be the biggest problem.
He said storms could develop around Kingaroy and Kilcoy and then travel east to the Sunshine Coast.
“They could even develop closer to the Sunshine Coast,” he said.
“At times they’ll be gusty and we could get quite heavy falls but they’ll be briefer than Wednesday night."
Mr Otto said it was difficult to tell where or when a storm would strike and advised people to look for updates.
He said storms were also likely on Saturday.
Updates will be posted as they become available.
