Coverage of the fires which burned more than 800 hectares of Noosa National Park attracted strong interest on the daily.com.au this week.
A 14-year-old boy has been given a notice to appear at the Noosa Children’s Court for his alleged involvement in the fires.
Bloggers had harsh words for a young graffiti fan who has vowed to keep on tagging, with most describing his efforts as vandalism, not art.
Other hot topics included the introduction of traffic lights on the new Maroochydore Road interchange and the state government’s plans to relocate Caloundra Aerodrome.
And who wants daylight saving? More than half the readers who voted in a daily online poll do, with two stories on the topic attracting dozens of comments from those both for and against the time change.
