A 62-year-old man has faced a Brisbane Magistrates Court today after drugs were allegedly found at a Maroochy River address.
The man has been charged with two counts of possession of a dangerous drug and one count of possession of vehicle used to commit an offence.
Police intercepted the man as he drove along the Pacific Highway Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast about 2pm on Wednesday during a joint operation between State Crime Operations Command and North Coast Region police.
Officers searched the car and allegedly found a large quantity of cannabis.
Sunshine Coast detectives later searched a Maroochy River address where more drugs were allegedly found.
