The waves were pumping on Sunshine Coast beaches as swells picked up on Monday and yesterday brought more of the same.
Surfers flocked to the beaches to take advantage of some the biggest surf to hit our beaches in months.
One surfer appeared to take on a wave that may have been a little rougher than he expected but, like plenty of others in the water, he had a great time.
Swells were expected to drop today but only slightly.
At least one surfer has worked out how to generate a bit of board speed in calmer water, even if what he does might be considered dangerous.
